Breezy
After Mt. Constitution we spent the night on Orcas. The next day we headed back to the harbor, the same exact hilly route, to head back to Anacortes. We went straight down Whidby Island and to the next harbor. We had to ride fast because it was cold and night was coming on quick.
We were headed for Old Fort Townsend. When we got to Port Townsend, we headed to a pizza place that a local pointed out to us on the ferry. We met this cool guy named Scott that showed us the way to the Old Fort.
It was a pretty scary route. We had to ride really fast, in the dark, to get to the fort. We turned early into the group camp area and we hit this really creepy run down house. We got out of there pretty quick.
We made camp in the hiker-biker site--we were the only ones there and it was pitch black--and tried to take a hot shower. The men's room only had cold showers. It was horrible.
Back at the camp we did not see a soul. That was when I ran into an old stump that scarred my leg up a good one. Oh the scars I have to bring home!
