A new hope
Washington was getting boring and I think it was because we had taken the inland route. Conner had taken the peninsula route and said that he had a pretty nice time near the coast. He also had passed by the town of Forks. I'd love to see that town so I could rub it in Heather's twilight loving face.
Nothing much happened on that day except me getting a flat. I happened to be all by myself too; luckily I had all the tools to fix it. I caught up to them about 10 minutes later where they were waiting for me on a bridge.
The place where I got a flat was beautiful. It was right against trees on one side and the ocean on the other. That was probably why i got a flat. I should've been looking at the floor instead of the horizon.
Oh, that day was the 4th of July. We had originally planned only to go a bit, before everyone started to leave their campsite with their oversized RVs but we got a lazy and kept going.
We had to get to a city called Bay Center. The street going towards that city was the best thing I had seen in Washington. There are some photos but they are a bit dark because it was getting late.
We went into town and got some groceries. We headed for the commercial, more expensive that is, campsite because the state park one was full. The good thing about the campsite we were at was that there was a laundramat and free internet. That was where I updated last time.
Towards the night we headed to the beach where we had fireworks in three different directions. It was eerie hearing the low rumbling from across the water. It made me wonder why we had fireworks in the first place. Is it to simulate the war that brought us our nation?
