A much needed break

We took a break. After almost two weeks of constant riding and camping, we took a break in Newport, Oregon.

On the way we took a small detour to another lighthouse. We had to walk an enormous amount of stairs to get to the top but it was worth it.

We rented a motel, all the hostels are gone here, and went around town to find food to eat. We wanted to go to Mo's and walked quite a ways to get to one. Josh had told us that it was a good clam chowder, supposedly world renowed for its chowder, restaurant. He also told us about the Rogue brewery and how it was the best beer in the world. I had to get one and I must say, it was pretty darn good.

It had been a good day of rest. Now back to riding tomorrow. I'll try and hit some more hotspots and try to keep a bit more up to date. But everything is up to date now, Friday, July 10.
